Our response: Question 1: In the UK, anyone/GP's/medical staff who vaccinate are offered an extra amount per vaccine. Does the IOM receive extra money per covid- 19 vaccine given? If so, please specify who received this money? Within Primary Care Services there is a payment made per vaccine under an enhanced service specification. This payment is only provided to participating GP Practices who have signed up to deliver the enhanced service specification as part of the Covid Booster programme. Question 2: How much is given, and are amounts different at all depending on age group of recipient or service provider? Payment was £12.58 per vaccine from the commencement of the service specification to the 1st December 2021. From the 1st December 2021 the payment was increased to £15.00, this is only being paid to the 31st January 2022 whereby it reverts to £12.58 thereafter. There is no difference for age groups. Question 3: If money given per covid-19 vaccination used, has the amounts changed at all?" The amount has changed.
