We write further to your request which was received on 15 December 2021 and which states:
"Do any MHK's, Dr Ewart, members of the emergency advisory group and any others who provide advice have a conflict of interest in decision making relating to the covid vaccines? For example, do any hold shares in companies related to covid-19 testing and/or vaccine manufacturing, distribution, marketing?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested for MHKs. As Members of Tynwald they are required to identify interests and register them in order to inform Tynwald Court, the Branches and the public of any circumstances arising from them which could reasonably be regarded as bearing upon the way in which any Member may carry out his or her duties. To offer advice and assistance, interests can be viewed online at the Tynwald website here: https://www.tynwald.org.im/memoff/interest/Pages/default.aspx. At the start of every meeting of the Emergency Advisory Group there is a standing item for declaration of conflicts of interest, which are recorded in the minutes. The terms of reference of the Emergency Advisory Group state that in Section 8.5.
