Please can you confirm the following: What is the total number of police officers who have left IOM Constabulary (for whatever reason including resignation, retirement and dismissal) in each of the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020? This information was previously requested from IOM Constabulary but I was referred to the Cabinet office. The information ought to be readily obtainable for example in the context of the Constabulary as an employer and its Income Tax/NI statutory returns. Thank you.

We write further to your request which was received on 9 December 2021 and which states:
"Please can you confirm the following: What is the total number of police officers who have left IOM Constabulary (for whatever reason including resignation, retirement and dismissal) in each of the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020? This information was previously requested from IOM Constabulary but I was referred to the Cabinet office. The Office of Human Resources, Cabinet Office have provided information which has been derived from our HR People Information System. Although figures for 2016 and 2017 are included above, unfortunately due to the migration and update of one system to the current system we use now, we have not been able to obtain accurate figures for the years, 2016 and 2017. We have analysed the figures for 2018, 2019 and 2020 removing any duplicates, and any reference to special constables to ensure the figures are accurate. Please quote the reference number 2138509 in any future communications.
