Summary

The requester asked for detailed results of the 'Have Your Say Pulse Survey 5: Leadership' for the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, broken down by individual schools and services, and inquired about a publication delay. The Cabinet Office provided available data but stated it did not hold the specific breakdowns for individual schools, noting that publication of such detailed results is at the discretion of Chief Officers.

Key Facts

  • The Cabinet Office does not hold the requested data broken down by individual primary schools, secondary schools, and specific support services.
  • Publication of divisional and service area results is left to the discretion of Chief Officers for their respective Departments.
  • The survey results were not published on the advertised date of November 24th because the full dataset was not received from the survey provider until the week ending December 3rd, 2021.
  • A table containing available data regarding the Leadership Pulse Survey and average scores per question was attached to the response.
  • The requester was advised to contact Chief Officers directly or submit a new FOI request for further information.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold some of the information that you have requested. I have attached the information that is being released to you by the Office of Human Resources, Cabinet Office. It is a table with the data you have requested regarding the Leadership Pulse Survey and the average score per question broken down by categories. The data in the table is taken from the reports produced reflecting the areas with enough data to produce one. Whilst we publish the Departmental results through an organisation wide communication, the publication of the results for divisional and service areas/teams is left to the discretion of Chief Officers for their Departments/Boards/Offices. For further information you would need to contact them directly or submit a Freedom of Information request. Have Your Say Pulse Survey 5: Leadership was not published on November 24th 2021 as we were unable to publish reports on the intended date as we did not receive the full data set required to complete the reports until the week ending Friday 3rd December 2021 through our survey provider. Please quote the reference number 2137409 in any future communications.
