We write further to your request which was received on 1st December 2021 which states:

"How many people come to the emergency dept, or are admitted to hospital with anaphylaxis or some form of allergic reaction each month. Please provide figures for 2019-current date, and type of reaction. Thank you"

Our Response The request has been split into two components: 1. AED Attendees and 2. Inpatient Admissions.
The date range used was 01.01.19 to 21.12.21 1. AED Attendees 2. Inpatient Admissions As “some form of allergic reaction” is too general to capture, we can confirm that there were 15 patients admitted to Nobles during this period under the first 10 diagnosis fields: food, unspecified, anaesthetic, medicine, serum and stings (multiple codes for stings – bees etc) .
