We write further to your request which was received on 9 November 2021 and which states:

"For each Island primary school for the academic year 2020-21: a. The percentage of pupils completing Year 2 who attained Levels 1, 2, and 3(+) in the subjects above, the IOM average for each level and subject quoted and the cohort size of each percentage data set; c. The percentage of pupils completing Year R who attained a Good Level of Development, the overall IOM GLD average, and the cohort size of each percentage data set; Previously the DESC have published attainment data of the type (a-b above) sought in this request in a single sheet response e.g. FOI Request Ref. No. 1020901 submitted 28 Oct 19, or prior to the introduction of the FOIA the DESC released such statistics under the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information. Latterly the Department imposed a requirement on the schools themselves to publish their attainment data on their respective websites. An email ('Publication of Performance Data' dated 04 Nov 9 08:14:44) published pursuant to FOI Request 1020901 highlights that "Please assume that such data will need to be made available, on an annual basis, as soon as possible and no later than the beginning of the autumn half-term break.' I understand no primary school attainment data was recorded and published for 2019- 20 due to Covid 19 issues. As of 1430 8th Nov 21 it appeared only 3 schools (Ballaugh, Marown and Onchan) have published online results for 2020-21 notwithstanding the directions in the DESC e-mail of 4 Nov 19. I request any information which shows any changes to this reporting/publishing requirement (e.g. further email instructions etc) and in the interests of transparency, accountability, completeness, uniformity and credibility the results/cohort data as sought for each primary school (and IOM averages) to the decimal places the data is recorded to) - such as was succinctly given in the DESC's reply to the above quoted FOI request or other relevant format."
