We write further to your request which was received on 9 November 2021 and which states:
"Please release any and all information related to decommissioned undersea cables between decommissioned nuclear bunker sites, in particular a declassified UK Ministry of Defence undersea cable from the Lake District to Northern Ireland and any correspondence related to the matter in the most recent 3 calendar years given that new black box technology could potentially be installed at either end in the Isle of Man and the UK even as a lower bandwidth IOT LoraWAN interconnector."
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Authority) is unable to provide the information that you have requested. This is in line with Section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
