The Patient Tracking List (PTL) does contain errors which are likely to include inaccuracies and duplications. This is a very similar problem facing some NHS Hospital Trusts in England.
Manx Care are working to develop an Access Policy which is a key requirement of the Required Outcome’s Framework (ROF) which will initiate the management and delivery of a Waiting List Data Validation Programme across the specialities to ensure the PTL is accurate and robust as we move forward. This programme aims to provide assurance about the quality of the waiting list data and identify pathways for Manx Care to review and remove where appropriate
