We write further to your request which was received on 29 September 2021 and which states:

"Since January 1 2017, how many employment tribunals have been lost by the Government each year and what has been the total annual payout in these tribunals. Secondly how many tribunals have been settled before a judgement was reached in each year and how much has been the annual total payout from these settlements."

Our response to your request is as follows: I have enclosed copies of the information that is being released to you. You may wish to contact Manx Industrial Relations Service and additionally all other Departments, Boards and Offices as they may hold further information. The information provided relates to parts of government that the Office of Human Resources (OHR) provide services to. It is also possible, although potentially unlikely, that settlement agreements may have been entered into by Government employers which do not form part of the OHR records e.g. because it was negotiated wholly through the employer and payment was not via payroll.
