While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested.
I have detailed below the information that is held. 1. IOM Resident Admissions to IOM Hospitals Year Admissions 2016 32 2017 47 2018 43 2019 22 2020 2 TOTAL 146 Up until 31st March 2021, clinical coding within the Isle of Man Hospitals Directorate has been carried out by locally trained but unqualified clinical coding staff and as such the validity of the coded data that this query is derived from is unknown. There is also a considerable backlog of uncoded finished consultant episodes from 2019 and 2020 which could contribute to the low numbers seen in these results. Manx Care is actively working to develop a sustainable, accurate and timely clinical coding function to address this situation. 2. Ratio of the total number of diagnoses per head and comparison to the same ratio for England and Wales. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Care is unable to provide the information that you have requested. This is in line with Section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. 3. Walton Centre Statistics While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Care is unable to provide the information that you have requested. This is in line with Section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. We suggest you submit an FOI request to them directly. Please quote the reference number 1838029 in any future communications.
