Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on 31 May 2021 and which states:
"What are the FTE staff numbers for each of the past 5 years?"
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
Further to our response to FOI 1810201, which provided the number of staff employed using a full-time equivalent (FTE) calculation for the last 5 years. Our previous response answers your subsequent request above:
Y/E 2020/21 – 281.77 Y/E 2019/20 – 295.21 Y/E 2018/19 – 318.07 Y/E 2017/18 – 330.49 Y/E 2016/17 – 318.98
These figures are based upon a full time role being 40 hour per week, which is our contractual hours. These figures take into account changes, such as people being recruited or leaving during each financial year. The figures include part-time workers consolidated to the 40 hours per week, for example 3 part-time workers (contracted to undertake 20hrs, 25hrs and 30hrs per week) would be the FTE of 1.875.
