We write further to your request which was received on 23 March 2021 and which states (sic):

"How many roads (or miles of roads in total) in the Isle of Man that were 'derestricted' (i.e. no speed limit) in 2006 before the public consultation on an all-Island speed limit have speed limits applied to them today (23rd March 2021)?"

There have been 10 instances where a road/section of road which was previously ‘derestricted’ now has a speed limit applied. Please see the attached Appendix 1 showing the date, Traffic Regulation Order type and location of these changes. Please quote the reference number 1722093 in any future communications.
