We write further to your request which was received on 12 March 2021 and which states:
"This is a two part request; 1) What is the total amount given specifically to Accommodation Providers through the Salary Support Scheme, Stragic Capacity Scheme and Coronavirus Business Support Scheme? 2) What it the total amount of grants given to the Ballahowin Courtyard Accommodation through SSS, SCS and CBSS since March 2020?"
Our response to your request is as follows: 1. The total amount given specifically to accommodation providers through the Strategic Capacity Scheme since first launched on 01 April 2020 through to 19 March 2021 is £8,755,993.84. The total amount given specifically to accommodation providers through the Coronavirus Business Support Scheme since first launched in 17 March 2020 through to 19 March 2021 is £400,500. The Salary Support Scheme is not administered by the Department for Enterprise, please contact Isle of Man Government Treasury Division.
- While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the information is absolutely exempt under section 26 of the Act, as disclosure would constitute an actionable breach of confidence to any accommodation provider, individual or entity that sought financial assistance via the approved schemes.
