We are unable to answer questions A – D individually due to the clinical coding of finished consultant episodes not being complete and the coding that has been done has not been audited to check validity. However, to comply with providing the data held in response to this FOI request there have been 16 Prosthetic replacements of head of femur procedures recorded between 01/01/2019 and 31/12/2020. All of these were marked as being emergency admissions. The accurate and timely clinical coding of finished consultant episodes is in the process of being addressed but this is a significant project and will take time.
