We write further to your request which was received on the 27th January 2021 and states:
“Question 1 For each year from 2009 to 2020 how many children were placed on care orders in the Isle of Man?” Our Response: Please see the table below which provides the numbers of children who were made subject to a Care Order by year, it does not include Interim Care Orders. The Freedom of Information Act 2015 allows information to be requested from the 11th October 2011. In order to provide help and assistance we have included the years that we do hold prior to this date. Unfortunately we are not able to provide the data for the year 2009 as the Department does not hold this.
