Original Request

I've just downloaded the COVID travel data from the Open Data page on the Covid part of www.gov.im and am looking for some clarification about what the figures are. I am assuming that the figures for each day are a running total since the 1st March 2020? I am also assuming that they record the total number of people (returning residents, new residents, key workers, visitors from Guernsey) that enter the island on that day? I would also be interested to know what the 'travelhistory' fields show? Clarification of request: Please confirm which dataset that you downloaded so that we can look at your question fully? Please can you confirm the title of the dataset exactly as it appears on the website so that we can respond accordingly? Response to clarification: Here is a link to the file that I've been looking at https://covid19.gov.im/media/1466/age-gender-travelhistory-data.csv I've just checked the latest copy of the file and my questions are still relevant.

Data Tables (2)

The data set shows the following:
Columns B to G show the cumulative number of COVID cases to date broken down by
age range.
Columns H and I show the cumulative number of COVID cases to date broken down by
gender.
Columns J and K show the cumulative number of COVID cases to date broken down by
travel history.
You referred to the data set in this link:
https://covid19.gov.im/media/1466/age-gender-travelhistory-data.csv
The Cabinet Office can confirm that the information in the open data file (link above)
referred to as "Age, Gender, Travel History" relates to positive case statistics on the
age band, gender and whether the person with the positive test had recent travel
history. The data does not relate to the number of people entering the Island on each
day.
