IOM Constabulary has stated that it has dealt with 10 individuals for failure to self-isolate in accordance with a 'direction notice', and has issued warnings to six and arrested four people (one of whom has been sentenced to six weeks in prison). (Manx Radio News Item - 18 August 2020) For each of the 10 persons state: a. the Regulation under which the 'direction notice' was issued; b. where the 'direction notice' has been issued under the Emergency Powers (Coronavirus) (Entry Restrictions) (No. 2) Regulations 2020, please state which amendment to those Regulations was in force when each direction notice was issued/given; c. the date on which the 'direction notice' was issued/given; d. the date of arrival in the Island; and e. the date(s) on which the person was warned/arrested as relevant. Names of individuals are not required.
