We write further to your request which was received on 11 August 2020 and which states:

"1. The total number of full-time lecturers at University College Isle of Man (UCM) employed under a permanent contract. 2. The total number of lecturers employed at UCM under a fixed term contract with the DESC. 3. The number of lecturers at UCM currently engaged on a zero hour’s basis. (Current meaning they have been engaged in work in this current year). 4. The total headcount of lecturers engaged/employed at UCM (306?). 5. The reason for any discrepancy between the total number given in number 4 and the total sum of the first 3 questions. 6. The percentages of trade union membership. 7. The total number of lecturers leaving employment at the end of the academic year 2019-2020." Percentage of Trade Union Membership While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Department does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. This is because the percentage of Trade Union membership is information that is not collected by either the Department or the Office of Human Resources.
