We write further to your request which was received on 23 June 2020 and which states:
"1. Was a risk assessment carried out at the Comis Hotel before it was used as a place of detention for repatriated residents? 2. If so who carried it out and when 3. Please supply me with a copy of any risk assessment 4. If no such assessment was made, why not?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested. In respect of the use of the Comis hotel as a place of designated accommodation for returning residents, following visits with relevant parties risk control measures were identified and implemented as required. You may wish to make contact or make a Freedom of Information request to the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Infrastructure or the Isle of Man Constabulary regarding these visits and subsequent risk control measures. Please quote the reference number 1342841 in any future communications.
