We write further to your request which was received on 10 June 2020 and which states:

"could you please tell me how many constables of any rank were injured making arrests between jan 2012 and jan 2020"

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. Records in this area only exist from 2014 to 2020.

I have detailed below the information that is held: Between 2014 and 2020 30 injuries are reported as occurring from arrests during this period, ranging from pulled muscles to a broken ankle. All injuries received appear to have been during an arrest in some shape or form and have happened to Constables.
