This document is valid for the individual or group of persons named above to enter the Island, and whilst leaving their dwelling house or other permanent place of residence within the time period stated above only. It can be presented, if requested to do so as evidence of a direction of express exclusion from self - isolation requirements in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Emergency Powers (Potentially Infectious Persons) Regulations 2020 as substituted by the Emergency Powers (Potentially Infectious Persons) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.

As part of your permit approval, your employer or sponsor has agreed that while you are in the Isle of Man, you must follow the instructions in this infection control protocol.

We also expect you to follow the general guidance that applies to everyone on the Isle of Man. It is essential that everyone follows this guidance all the time in order to reduce person to person spread of coronavirus on Island.

 Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, each time using soap and water, or use hand sanitiser  Aim to keep 2 metres (3 steps) away from people. If you can, you should use a separate bathroom from other people.
 Cover your mouth and nose with disposable tissues when you cough or sneeze. If you do not have one to hand, sneeze into the crook of your elbow, not into your hand.  Dispose of tissues into a disposable rubbish bag and immediately wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.  You should not use public transport or taxis.
 You should not socialise or gather in a large group of people  avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands  If you are staying overnight, you will be given a designated hotel/accommodation where you will stay. You should only travel from your arrival point to your place of work and back to your hotel. You must self-isolate while at your hotel, following the Isle of Man Government’s guidance at gov.im/coronavirus
