Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on 27th April 2020 and which states:
"Can the Government provide a comprehensive list of all the species (either resident, wintering, breeding or passage) found in, on or over the landmass and territorial seas of the Isle of Man that are assessed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as: 1) Extinct 2) Extinct in the Wild 3) Critically Endangered 4) Endangered 5) Vulnerable 6) Near threatened"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. All of the information that you have requested is available from www.iucnredlist.org – if you type Isle of Man into the search box and select ‘Isle of Man – Europe’ from the drop down option which appears this will take you to all species recorded and their derived classifications and analysis.
