Original Request

It has been reported that the leachate from the settling pond used for dewatering silt from Peel Marina is to be directly fed back into the south side of the marina. This leachate would be regarded as a waste stream and would require licensing under the Water Pollution Act. In order for the licence to have been issued tests on the leachate should have been made to ensure compliance with environmental quality standards. I would like to obtain a copy of the licence and of the results from any leachate test that would have been required BEFORE issuing such a licence
