We write further to your request which was received on 23rd March 2020 and which states:
"How is Tynwald or the House of Keys going to be achieve the 2 metres apart when sitting"
On 23rd March 2020 the presiding officers set out how parliamentary business would carry on over the coming six to eight weeks including confirmation of a revised seating plan in the Tynwald chamber and the House of Keys chamber. A copy of the Tynwald Seating plan and the HOK seating plan is attached; each seating plan is designed to allow for maximum distancing. A copy of the media release published on the Tynwald website - http://www.tynwald.org.im/about/news/Pages/2025.aspx - is also attached. Please quote the reference number 1243282 in any future communications.
