We write further to your request which was received on 18 March 2020 and which states:
"I would like figures for the last two years relating to children who have been suspended from school as a result of mobile phone use (or misuse e.g. in class etc.) I would like these figures broken down per school"
In order to identify and locate the information that you asked for, we needed to clarify if the information requested was for Secondary Schools. You advised: “I would just like information for secondary schools” Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information held by the Department that is being released to you. The number of suspensions in the table below are either due to mobile phone misuse or a combination of reasons which include mobile phone misuse.
