We write further to your request which was received on 4 March 2020 and which states:

"Please can you provide the following information: 1) The expected cost of moving the steam train known as 'Caledonia' to Knockaloe over the weekend of 1st and 2nd August 2020? 2) What is the business case for this and what is the expected economic benefit to the economy of the Isle of Man? 3) Was approval sought from Treasury for this expenditure? 4) Where did the original idea for moving the steam train known as 'Caledonia' to Knockaloe come from? 5) Please supply minutes from all meetings relating to the organisation of the event known as 'Manx Heritage Transport Festival' 6) Please supply a full health and safety risk assesment for the moving the steam train known as 'Caledonia' to Knockaloe."

We are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because it does not exist; our responses are below. 1. There are no costs to the Department for Caledonia visiting Knockaloe. 2. There is no business case as there is no cost to the Department. 3. There was no requirement for Treasury approval for this activity as this is a Departmental decision. 4. Knockaloe.

5. No formal minutes are taken at these meetings. 6. At this time there is no risk assessment.
