We write further to your request which was received on 2 March 2020 and which states:
"In 2016, the Department of Economic Development commissioned a report from Analysys Mason to review the Island's telecommunications infrastructure and landscape. Please could we have a copy of this report?"
Our response to your request is as follows: I have enclosed copies of the information.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance some of the information is exempt from disclosure under section 30 of the Act as disclosure would be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including The Department for Enterprise). Pages 13, 17, 20, 23, 25 & 39 have been removed from the report. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the information is exempt from disclosure under section 30(2)(a) of the Act as it constitutes a trade secret. Please quote the reference number 1206549 in any future communications.
