We write further to your request which was received on 20 January 2020 and which states:
- "Could you please provide the cost of the purchase of Strathallan from Douglas Corporation.
- What budget did this come from and
- who signed of the purchase and
- when was it completed."
Our response to your request is as follows:
- The purchase price of the Strathallan Depot was £10.00.
- The purchase was made by the Department of Infrastructure using funds from budgets allocated to the Transport Services Division.
- The purchase contract was signed by the Chief Executive after the necessary Departmental and Treasury approvals had been secured.
- The purchase was completed on the 7th April 2017. For interest I have also attached a copy of the Deed which is available through the General Registry. Please quote the reference number 1138425 in any future communications.
