We write further to your request which was received on 20 January 2020 and which states:

  1. "Could you please provide the cost of the purchase of Strathallan from Douglas Corporation.
  2. What budget did this come from and
  3. who signed of the purchase and
  4. when was it completed."

Our response to your request is as follows:

  1. The purchase price of the Strathallan Depot was £10.00.
  2. The purchase was made by the Department of Infrastructure using funds from budgets allocated to the Transport Services Division.
  3. The purchase contract was signed by the Chief Executive after the necessary Departmental and Treasury approvals had been secured.
  4. The purchase was completed on the 7th April 2017. For interest I have also attached a copy of the Deed which is available through the General Registry. Please quote the reference number 1138425 in any future communications.
