Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 1. How many captive animals are currently kept at the wildlife park, and what species are they? Details are attached in Appendix A. 2. Since 2015, how many captive animals have been born at the wildlife park, and what species? Details are attached in Appendix B. 3. Since 2015, how many animal have died or been euthanised, what species were they, and what were the ages of the animals and causes of death or reason for euthanasia? Details are attached in Appendix B. 4. How many animals have been bought and sold, from/ to where, and at what price? None. Further information As a member of both the British Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) the Curraghs Wildlife Park works on the principle that animals can be priceless to conservation, and it is this principle that has allowed breeding programs to take off and co-operation on a global scale to breed and conserve species.
