We write further to your request which was received on 16 December 2019 and which states:

"How much bonuses has been paid to police officers for the last 12 months"

Our response to your request is as follows: I have enclosed copies of the information that is being released to you. In the document reference is made to ICIDP – this is the Initial Crime Investigators Development Program. Authorised Firearms Officers payments have been included though these are not part of the bonus payments scheme. Applications for bonus payments are available throughout the year but are considered under at a quarterly meeting of the awards panel, with the exception of sifting payments which are considered separately.
