Dear ###
We write further to your request which was received on 28 November 2019 and which states:
"Please can you provide me with the following details of permits requested and issued to drive on Greenways between 2008 to 2013 issued by the DOI (or previous departmental titles):- 1) Name of Greenway 2) Person or group applying for the permit 3) Date of request 4) Officer issuing the permit"
Having checked through our records we do not hold any information prior to 1 April
2011. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2015 we are only obliged to provide you
with information from 11 October 2011.
We have, therefore, provided some of the information you have requested from 1 April
2011 until 4 September 2013 which can be found below in the accompanying
appendix.
Appendix 1 2011 to 2013
While our aim is to provide information wherever possible, in this instance some of the
information is exempt from disclosure pursuant to s25 (absolutely exempt personal
information). The reasons why the exemption applies are that the Department of
Infrastructure (DOI) is satisfied that the information amounts to personal data under
the Data Protection Act 2002. The DOI is satisfied that, disclosure of the information
would contravene one of the data protection principles, namely that DOI can only
disclose the information where it would be fair, lawful and meet one of the conditions
in Schedule 2 and in this case, none of these conditions have been met.
