Original Request

I would like the DOI (As the Government agency responsible for fleet management) to provide details and breakdown of the number of vehicles in use by Government broken down by Department. In this request, 'Department(s)' is deemed to also include Statutory Boards and other Government Agencies, Authorities etc. Information to include: Vehicles that are plant (but not including specialist vehicles like diggers / road rollers etc) but include haulage wagons. Vehicles that are owned, leased, or on a long term rental or borrowed. In other words the vehicle is under the control of the Department and used as if it was owned. How many government controlled vehicles are 'off the road' (EG stored ready for disposal or in storage etc) How many vehicles (including vans and haulage) have been Hired / Rented in 2018 and 2019 - (Eg non government vehicles but rented / hired for use by a Department). If there are any Departments that are in control of their own vehicles that would not be listed in the response to this request, then declare which Departments. This is so a further FOI request may be made to the relevant Department.
