We write further to your request which was received on 7th November 2019 and which states:
"Under the Control of Wool order an application can be made under licence to sell your own wool - please can you tell me since 2000 how many applications have been made and how many of those applications have been approved. Many thanks"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible some of the information requested is prior to October 2011 and the FoI Act (s.4(1)) does not apply. However, since October 2011 two applications have been made to sell wool through the Control of Wool order, neither of which were approved. Further Information Although your request can only be partly answered under Freedom of Information we still have a duty to search further under the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information. After a reasonable search we have found no further data prior to October 2011.
