Good Afternoon, I would like to request information / emails surrounding correspondence sent from the Flood Agency to both Manx Utilities and the contractor in respect of the expectation of high rainfall and requests to shore up the hole in the Glen Road that was created to facilitate the work to be carried out on the Weir. We write further to your request which was received on 23 October 2019 which states:

"Good Afternoon, I would like to request information / emails surrounding correspondence sent from the Flood Agency to both Manx Utilities and the contractor in respect of the expectation of high rainfall and requests to shore up the hole in the Glen Road that was created to facilitate the work to be carried out on the Weir. The period of the request covers the 5 days leading up to and following the severe floods. "

We requested that you provide clarification as to which body you meant by the term “Flood Agency”. You stated: “Could you send the comms sent from Civil Defence and the Metrological Office to the MUA and or the Contractors.”

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested.
