We write further to your request which was received on 21 October 2019 and which states:
"Could the AG practice privately with insurance provided by the Law Society insurance if not [why] not?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. In this instance, we do not hold this information; the recruitment of the Attorney General is administered by the Cabinet Office and no records are held at the AGCs.
