Original Request

Please find below a Freedom of Information request in relation to all of the work undertaken on the exhaust stack at Peel Power Station initiated due to the damage caused by Storm Eowyn.

Please provide information relating to the procurement undertaken by the Manx Utilities Authority (MUA) for all of the contractors involved. These are to include but not limited to;

The contractor(s) appointed for supply of steeplejacks,

The contractor(s) appointed for supply of the drone,

The contractor(s) appointed for the manufacture and/or installation of the steel work now in place to support the three flues,

The contractor(s) appointed for the manufacture, repair, and/or installation/removal of the replacement flue,

The contractor(s) appointed for the supply and hire of on Island based cranes,

The contractor(s) appointed for the supply and hire of UK based cranes,

The contractor(s) appointed for waste recycling (materials from old flu cap etc) and other waste from the project.

For all procurements, please provide:

  1. Confirmation whether the contract(s) were awarded by open tender, restricted tender, direct award, framework agreement, emergency procurement, or any other route.

  2. A copy of all the tender / ITT / RFQ or equivalent procurement documentation issued (if applicable).
